Water Fowl hunting is the The Fall Specialty & Forte' of Outdoor Allure Guide Service. Weather & fall flight patterns dictate the method of the day, but hunters may try open water hunting for Lake Superior divers, shoreline hunting for mixed species, beaver ponds for early season "puddler" action or jump shooting during a float trip is always an enjoyable way to spend the day. Muskie Fishing & Duck Hunting can be combined for some late autumn excitement & a full day out in the woods. Duck hunting trips are not for the feint of heart, as they are labor intensive and can be exhausting... but they are always exhilarating.

UPLAND GAME
Ruffed Grouse are the "King of Gamebirds" in our Northern Forests. Their numbers are highly variable through their 10 year cycle, but even in the poorest of years we can usually find Grouse. In peak years, flush rates can reach 15 birds in an hour. From mid to late October Woodcock make for a fun distraction in the upland bogs.  Snowshoe Hares are always an interesting quarry during late fall and winter.

BIG GAME
Big Game Hunts are available with Outdoor Allure Guide Service occasionally & with several other local specialty guides who only take a limited number of clients every season. Rifle, Bow & Muzzle Loader Hunts may be booked in Bayfield County, where bucks scoring 150 Boone & Crocket points or higher are taken with regularity. Outdoor Allure Guide Service will also book baited hunts for Black Bear in Zone A1.
