BEST IDEA TO HIT A DOWNRIGGER SINCE THE LEAD BALL!!! This is truly a "why didnt I think of that" idea. works just like other releases, except you dont have to raise your ball when you trip it. It comes to you. Even with electric downriggers it takes time and wears on your motors. Now, you run your line through the clip on the release, drop in the water (water pressure lowers it to the depth of the ball). When you get hit, your release trips, water pressure spins the "fin" around, and water pressure brings it back up to the boat. Release has tension adjustment as well. Dozens have been sold already this year, and EVERYONE we have sold them to absolutely loves them.
